How to reset/change your password using SSPR (Self Service Password Reset)

Overview

This guide provides step by step instruction on how to change or reset your password using SSPR (Self Service Password Reset). Combined with MFA (Multi Function Authentication), it provides and safe and secure way to quickly and easily change or reset your password.

Requirements

Your Registered Mobile Phone
Internet Access
MFA registration

Procedure

Click on the following link:

https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
You will then need to enter your Sundale email address.
Enter the letters you can see in the picture into the text box.
Then select Next.
You will then be asked to verify your account by selecting one of the following methods:
1. by a text message or call to your registered mobile number
  1. Select mobile phone method
  2. Select the correct mobile phone number
  3. Select Next
  4. Enter your mobile phone number
  5. Select Text
  6. Enter the verification code provided via text message.
  7. Select Next
2. by Microsoft authenicator app
  1. Select authenicator app method
  2. Enter the 6 digit verification code provided on your microsoft authenticator app
  3. select Next
Enter your new password
- Password MUST be at least 13 characters long
- No longer requires complexity (combination of symbols, numbers capitals etc)
Confirm the new password
Select Finish
You have now changed or reset your password and can close the window.
